All campgrounds have some things that are unique to them; whether it is the amenities that are offered such as the camp store at the campground being stocked with supplies or not, the size and condition of the play area for kids, some have pools, the number of and condition of the shower and laundry facilities, the site conditions and the degree of levelness, the number of sites and whether they cater to campers traveling through or vacationers or long term stays.

We have found that there are many things that every campground we have stayed at have in common:

Rigs-At every campground we have stayed at there have been rigs of every size and shape.  Travel    trailers, 5th wheels, RV's, pop-ups and truck campers.  Huge and tiny and everywhere in between!  And with that variety of rigs comes a variety of tow and towed vehicles.  We enjoy walking in the campground and looking at all the different rigs.  It is like a RV show at every campground. :)

Where ya' all from?-Playing the license plate game in a campground would be fun.  I wish I had kept a list of all the different state license plates I have seen.  People have been very excited to talk about the place that they call home and love to ask about other people's home.

People-Consistantly we have experienced that people at the campground are friendly and always willing to stop and talk and to lend a helping hand if needed.

Campfires-People love to have campfires!  Most evenings you will find many campers sitting around the campfire and relaxing.  There is something very relaxing about a campfire.

Children-We have met and seen a lot of families and children along our path.  The children are always outside playing and making new friends.  Such a great experience for children.

Dogs-Every campground we have stayed at has been filled with dogs.  Big dogs, little dogs and everywhere in between.  I wish I had taken pictures and written down the names of all the dogs we've met.
